Our Veterinarians
Dr. Brad LeVora, Veterinarian
After graduating from the Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, Dr. Brad LeVora practiced medicine in the metropolitan DC area until 1993 when he became the new veterinarian and owner of Little Seneca Animal Hospital. This gave him the opportunity he had been looking for: the ability to own his own hospital and form long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. His mission along with the dedicated veterinarians and staff at Little Seneca Animal Hospital is to perform comprehensive, high-quality medicine for small animals through personalized services and client education. When he’s not at Little Seneca, Dr. Brad enjoys playing basketball, traveling to new places, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Betsy Stiefvater, Veterinarian
Dr. Betsy grew up in Ohio. After graduating from the Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, she moved to the DC area to practice small animal medicine. She joined the Little Seneca family in 1998. Dr. Betsy especially enjoys working with cats! She is a mother of two beautiful girls and a handsome young man. She has two cats, one dog, and a frog! She enjoys reading and hiking in her spare time.
Our Veterinary Team
Lindsay Vinias, Office Manager
Lindsay is a proud member of Little Seneca Animal Hospital’s team. She became the office manager in 2018 after being a veterinary technician at the practice for three years. In her 10+ years of experience as a veterinary technician, Lindsay has worked in general and feline-only veterinary hospitals, as well as surgical and emergency practices. She is committed to caring for her patients and promoting their optimal wellness. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters outside. She also enjoys crocheting and being a mother to four fur-babies: two cats and two dogs.
Kerry Stevens, Veterinary Technician
Kerry became a part of the Little Seneca family in 2017. After graduating from West Virginia University studying Sociology and Criminology, she followed her love for helping animals by working at Gentle Giants, a local horse farm. There, she was involved in the rehab and veterinary care of numerous equines. Kerry came to our hospital as a vet tech hoping to gain further experience and knowledge working with smaller animals. When not at work, she loves to travel, write, and cuddle her dog, Thor.
Karyn Wilmer, Veterinary Technician / Receptionist
Karyn joined the Little Seneca family in the summer of 2018 after moving to the area from Baltimore. Karyn has worked in the pet industry for over 10 years and loves animals of all kinds. She has an intense love for learning more about the veterinary medical field and is always willing to help anywhere in the hospital when needed. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cat and dog and volunteering with horse rescues when she finds the time.
Ashleigh, Veterinary Technician
Ashleigh became part of the Little Seneca family in 2020. After graduating from the College of Charleston with a degree in Exercise Science, she returned to her hometown to apply to veterinary school and expand her knowledge in the field. Ashleigh is planning to pursue her veterinary degree in the fall of 2021 with a focus in canine rehabilitation. She is committed to caring for the animals as if they were her own and helping wherever she can. In her free time, she loves weightlifting and hiking with her pup, Snoopy.
Lyndsey, Veterinary Technician
Lyndsey joined our team in April 2020 hoping to gain more knowledge and skills in the veterinary field. Lyndsey has been a veterinary technician since 2017 working with small animals and is excited to learn more. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family along with their 3 dogs: Roxy, Harley and Ollie.
Sharon, Receptionist
Sharon was a veterinary technician for 20 years before joining Little Seneca as a receptionist in 2019. She has 4 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 1 dog at home to keep her busy when she is not at work. Sharon is thrilled to be a part of the Little Seneca family.
Ashley Turcios, Technician Assistant
Ashley joined the Little Seneca Animal Hospital in Germantown for her strong love of animals and learning about the veterinary medical field. She joined our team in 2017, after graduating from Northwest High School. Ashley helps with patient’s treatments and care in the hospital and is willing to help anywhere in the hospital when needed. Outside of work, she attends Towson University where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Education & Promotion. Ashley loves spending time with her friends and her adorable Pekingese, Tucker.
Eddie, Technician Assistant
Eddie has been at Little Seneca Animal Hospital for almost three years, starting off as an intern then into a full-fledged staff member. He graduated from Magruder High School in 2020, and is currently a freshman attending Montgomery College. He plans on transferring to the University of Houston to earn his degree in Biology after my two years at MC. Eddie has a handsome American bobtail cat, named Mateo, who he loves with his whole heart!
